Thanksgiving is a time we reflect more fully on all that the Lord has provided, and it is no different at The Dwelling Place.
How often do each of us thank the Lord for our homes and cars, or do we take those for granted? How about our families? Our jobs? Our schools?
Our women and children are thankful for...
their new homes that are safe places provided by you, where they are able to finally rest and laugh again.
our staff who share the love of Christ and teach them truths from the Word of God that replace the lies they have been told, or are believing, about their lack of worth or talent or ability to be redeemed and loved by God.
our volunteers, who tutor their children or teach them new life skills.
help in finding jobs, cars, housing, and, even at times, food.
moms are especially thankful for a safe place to nurture their children (currently we have 22 children in our homes).
As you are celebrating all that the Lord has done in your life, please consider sharing some of your time, talent, or financial resources to help us finish this budget year strong so that we can continue to provide hope and healing and a path to a bright future for many women and children who so desperately need it.
